Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT REQUIRED IN ADVANCE

  • We do not open accounts for anyone.
  • We do not accept payment other than on-line via PayPal - credit card, debit card - and paper checks from public and private schools when accompanied by an official purchase order.
  • Orders are not confirmed as bookings until full payment has been received.


EXTENDING THE RENTAL - WE STILL REQUIRE PAYMENT IN ADVANCE

  • Contact us - if the equipment is or can be made available, we will send an invoice for the additional days at the extra day rate (10% of the normal weekly rate rounded up to the nearest whole dollar).  
  • If this is paid before the original end of the rental period this is all you will owe for the extra time.  If you pay after the end of the initial rental period, you will owe us late fees which are approximately double the extra day rental charges.


SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • Security deposits are required on most rentals.
  • Security deposit is equal to $200 or 50% of rental charges, whichever is greater.
  • Schools can exempt themselves from paying the security deposit by placing the following statement on their purchase order:

           "We accept responsibility for any damages or loss to the rented

           equipment while it is in our possession.  We will pay, within 21

           days, any charges levied by bodymics.rentals a division of Reilly SR LLC."

  • Security deposit will normally be invoiced seperately from the rental and will be required to be processed seperately -
  • Payment of security deposit can be delayed until 7 days before your "First Use Date".
  • Rental equipment will not be shipped until this invoice is paid.


 
RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • Security deposit will be credited with-in 7 days of our receipt of returned rented equipment if nothing is missing and there is no damage.
  • If there is loss or damage, bodymics will generate an invoice covering the loss/damage.  If the invoice is less than the security deposit, the balance will  be returned.  
  • If there is an outstanding balance you will be required to pay the difference within 7 days.  Failure to pay on time will lead to legal action to recover what the oustanding debt.


 
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL LOSS AND DAMAGE

  • You are totally responsible for the rental equipment from the moment delivery is accepted from our carrier until it is collected/logged by our carrier for return.
  • Missing, lost or damaged components will be charged at prevailing replacement prices as listed on the contract.  
  • If you arrange to pay for these parts when you return the gear - include a check or credit card authorization with the rental return you can save 50% on the replacement costs.  see price list or itemized list on your contract
  • Failure to pay for these losses/damages in advance will result in "late charges" being applied on a daily bases from the time the system is returned to us by our carrier.


 
INCIDENTAL LOSS AND ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE INSURANCE

  • You can purchase insurance against

           *  loss of accessories like mic clips, pop filters, storage pouches and containers - except outside delivery box/case

           *  loss from theft - we need a copy of the police report - has to be from a locked and secure room

           *  accidental damage to equipment and accessories - excludes

                  *drops from higher than table top height when not in shipping container,

                  *tearing off of mic connectors through rough treatment,

                  *being run over by any vehicle or wheeled cart, trolley, trailer, bike, trike or skate/skateboard

                  *any deliberate sabotage.

  • Insurance premium is 15% of total rental charge.


 LATE RETURN TO OUR CARRIER

  • You will be charged 20% of the weekly rental rate for each day you are late in having the equipment picked up by our carrier.
  • You need to arrange pickup at least one business day before the pickup (Friday for Monday).
  • Note: you are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier's failure to get the gear back to us when scheduled.


LATE ARRIVAL OF RENTAL TO YOU

  • In the event that our carrier fails to deliver the rental equipment on the agreed date, we will 
  • accept the immediate return of the equipment and return you full payment including any security deposit (system must be collected or delivered to the carrier with 24 hours of your receipt) OR
  • prorate the rental rate by 10% for each day it is late
  • we are not responsible for any damages or financial loss (consequential losses) you may incur by this late delivery.
